$25 vs $299 - Takstar beats the Rode VideoMic Pro+ ? 😲

We compare the Takstar SGC-598 (one of my favorite low budget mics) against the brand new Rode Videomic Pro+ Plus! The new Rode has some great features but with a cost coming in at 12X more, is it worth it?

Personally, I like the sound of the Takstar as its more balanced, and with a simple bass boost in post, it sounds really good. Sure you don't get the extra features like the auto-on, but for $25 you can't complain.

8K Video Editing BEAST! - 16 Core ThreadRipper for Premiere Pro and Resolve

I combine a water cooled and overclocked AMD 1950X with a 16GB Vega Frontiere GPU for an ultimate video editing PC! This Ryzen 16 core beast can handle 8K Red Raw editing with Premiere Pro and Davinci Resolve at full res with fairly good playback, and at lower resolutions (which you should be using anyway since almost no one has 8K displays) you can edit with many effects, luts, and corrections.
